Happy Mother's Day!

Every day is Mother’s Day in my life, being the mother of our four children. Peter, our oldest, is 15. Mitchell will be 13 and Charlotte will be 10 at the end of this month. Our youngest, Hazel, just turned 5. Each day I can depend on at least one of them to make me smile, laugh, touch my heart, or scratch my head in disbelief.  Each year has its ebbs and flows but God’s purpose for being a mother is a blessing. I am so thankful for this gift!  Evey and I are so grateful for our children and our own unique love we have for each of them. Today, we celebrate the many ways mothers have fought to better the lives of their children. We also honor mothers who have raised and nurtured their children with love and courage. Thank you to our mothers, Mary Marshall Jones and Jane Loudon for leading by example. We would not be the women we are without you! A special thank you to all our mothers that have supported us throughout the years in Eyelet and Ivy. We wish you a Happy Mother’s Day!
