In our first interview series, we're featuring a longtime supporter of the brand, Leslie Pegram. She is one of our wonderful hostesses and also a good friend.
Q: How do you know Evey & Alicen, the Ladies behind Eyelet & Ivy?
A: I met Evey the first day we moved into our neighborhood 6 years ago and she and Lance took us out to a nice dinner 2nd night we were here...we were wowed!! I met Alicen through my sister because their kids went to school together about 5.5 years ago! Two amazing ladies on the inside, out who I love dearly and treasure our friendship! Q: Name, Family Info, Hometown, Kids, Pets, Husband's Name?
A: Leslie Pegram; husband John; kids: Holice 11, Hattie 9, Hank 7; we live in Waco,Texas; black lab named Bruiser, outside cat named Hunter.
Q: What do you look for when shopping for your children's clothing?
A: Sweet and classic!! Anything smocked, monogram and all Eyelet and Ivy knits!! Why not dress them sweet while they’re young, they have their whole life to dress like an adult?!
Q: What's something that Eyelet & Ivy doesn't make that you wish they did?
A: This is hard!!! I know I’m biased, but they cover just about everything I love for my kiddos!! I mean maybe sweet monogrammed athletic wear so kiddos can look cute sweating!!
Q: What's your guilty pleasure or indulgence?
A: A box of milk duds with a glass of cab and The Bachelor!!!! I’m obsessed with Barre and Bounce class at a local studio here called Refine31!!
Q: What are you reading or watching right now?
A: Currently reading 5 Love Languages of Children. The hubby and I are obsessed with Game of Thrones! Sooooo good!!
Q: Tell us your fondest memory since becoming a mother.
A: I loved labor and delivery with all of my kiddos and just smile when I see these three amazing miracles that God blessed us with!! Q: What's the best advice someone has given you about motherhood? Who gave it to you?
A: Soak in all the mommy moments even when it’s hard (when you have 3 kids 4 and under) because it goes by soooo fast, and you will miss it, I promise! My MIL!

Leslie, your family is just as beautiful as you are! I especially appreciate your messages when selling samples. You make the job seem so simple, yet I can imagine it could be quite a lot to handle. Your sweet disposition is such a pleasure and shows in your kind approach. I enjoyed learning more about your family, and I agree that athletic wear from Eyelet & Ivy would be sweet!
